Simbu, the actor known for his controversial activities, is once again in the limelight. His recent walkout from the sets of a reality dance show host by Vijay TV is the latest of his antics.
Jodi No. 1 is the popular reality dance show that is aired on Star Vijay for the past few months. While shuttling between the sets of Kaalai and Kettavan, Simbu was also judging the dancing prowess of a few celebrities for the second season of the show. He is the third judge and giving marks to the dancing pairs sitting on the panel alongside veteran dance master Sundaram and actress Uyir Sangeetha.
Although Simbu's presence on the show helped the channel's TRP rates, it's a dramatic turn of events that seems to be eagerly awaited by the fans of the channel and Simbu alike. Here is the story. The promotional clipping of the show that is to be telecast today, October 6, 2007 shows Babloo, one of the contestants picking up a verbal brawl with the star and the other one Uma Ryaskhan in tears along with him.
The footage also shows Babloo questioning Simbu as to why he was criticized even after a good performance to which Simbu reacts in his usual self pitied tone that people call him rude since he is not the kind to hide his opinion about anything, be it good or bad. The highlight of the promo is Simbu's out from the sets of the show eliminating him from the show
But later the actor has returned to the sets after contestants and the organizers convinced Simbu to stay. But the unconvinced Babloo exited from the show before the panel announced their marks.
