Boney sets the stage for Sridevi comeback!

Sridevi, the megastar of yesteryears will be back on the silver screen after nearly a decade!

The actress will make her comeback with a bang in her hubby's film. The shooting for this yet to be titled film is likely to start in mid-August. Boney Kapoor has set the stage for his wife's new innings in films. He confirmed the news about Sridevi's comeback to the media yesterday. He said, "we are working on a big project that will hopefully do full justice to Sridevi's comeback. Just now I have returned from the US. I have selected a few fresh locations for this film in the US and Russia. These beautiful locations will certainly add to the colour of the film. I think there are still lakhs of loyal fans of Sridevi who have been waiting eagerly for her comeback..."

Meanwhile, Sridevi has accepted to appear in a guest role in Rajkumar Santhoshi's new film Halla Bol. The film will be released before Boney's home production.

It might be recalled that Yash Raj films had approached Sridevi 2 years ago for a film, and the actress also accepted the offer. But due to some reasons the project was shelved.

In Tamil, her last film was Devaragam with Arvind Swamy. But the film was a big disaster at the box office. After a long gap, veteran director P.Vasu has approached the actress for his new film with the legendary actor Kamal Hassan. Sources say that the actress has given a positive reply to do a role in this project.
