Trisha, the number one South Indian actress, will make her Hindi debut in ace director Selvaragavan's film. After Asin's debut in Bollywood, she could be the next to shift there. Earlier Trisha's godfather (director Priyadharshan), who introduced her to Kollywood in his film Lesa Lesa, had planned to engineer the actresses Hindi debut. But Trisha didn't commit to his efforts to him. Now it seems to be the credit for introducing Trisha to Bollywood will go to Selvaragavan.
Selva is planning to make his his debutant Hindi film for UTV and Raadan Media Works Ltd. It will be a remake of the blockbuster Tamil film 7G Rainbow Colony. The director wanted Trisha to play Sonia's role in the orignal film. Sources said that the actress immediately accepted the offer and requested him to give her a month to complete all her commitments in Kollywood.
Trisha already has worked with Selva in his recent Telugu hit Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule. One might remember that the director had already announced his Tamil project Ithu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam with Karthi and Sandhya in the lead roles.
When the media asked him about his new Bollywood film, he said, 'I have plans to direct a Hindi movie soon. But I have not finalised the cast yet. Trisha is the first name on the list. But nothing has been confirmed as yet. The shooting of Ithu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam will be commencing soon. It will be the next film that I will be shooting for. That is for sure.'
