Small Screen, big noise

Small screen actresses have raised a commotion against the award presentation that took place at a fashion show organized for the unmarried TV actresses recently.

Day before yesterday, small screen actor Vishwa arranged a fashion show for the unmarried small screen actresses for the first time in the state. Many of the television artists participated in the event, and finally Santoshi got selected as 'The Beauty Queen of Chinnathirai.'

Now, there have been many reactions for this event from various corners. A group of small screen actresses have objected to the event and criticised that this function was a biased one. They claimed that only they are the real artists of the small screen and they would never accept Santoshi as its unique beauty.

According to them, actor Vishwa invited a small group of actresses who only performed on Sun TV, and he was not even ready to give due importance to others. 'There are more than 10 private channels in Tamil including the Doordarshan, but Vishva gave importance to the actresses from Sun TV only. There are many talented and beautiful girls working with other channels too. This is nothing else but cheating the people.We have also come to know that a huge amount was collected for each award from the actresses. We will never accept such an award, and are preparing to sue the organizers of this bogus event...' they told.
