Vandana denies suicide attempt

Until now, Shrikanth alias Shriram had been denying that he had married Vandana. But, after the police clarified that they can't intervene in this issue because it is a civil case, he is now seriously planning to file for a divorce. Meanwhile, Vandana has rubbished off the rumours of her suicide attempt.

Ever since trouble started, rumors are on that Vandana Reddy, the Chennai-based model who claimed that she is the wife of the actor, had attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills. But she denied those stories and clarified that she is strong and intelligent enough to avoid such drastic actions. "Why would I attempt suicide? I'll never do such a thing," she said.

Shrikanth/Shriram and his family still continues to live away from their apartment in Vadapalani, Chennai. Vandana is now the sole occupant of the house. She and Shrikanth/Shriram were supposed to turn up for counseling in order to resolve the situation.
