Vijay announced categorically that he would never play any kind of role in any Indian language films except Tamil films. He met the media persons after the success of Pokkiri in his Vadapalani office on Sunday night. He answered for the questions in a much-relieved mood. He said, Pokkiri reduces my tension and pressure a lot. After Aadhi, so many things were happening. Now there are jubilant reports from the distributors side. Many a times, I have got offers from Telugu and Hindi movies but I have not accepted them. I have resoluted to never accept the offers outside Kollywood. I feel that this is my field and easy to work very convenient area. I will never be allright with acting in any other language film industry as an anonymous person. If the dubbed versions of my Tamil films have done well in other languages, it is additional pleasure for me. That's all."

He was asked whether the story of Azhagia Tamil Magan has copied from an English film. Others asked that there is a rumor that there is some other writer who now raised objections for using this story. Vijay denied these as a baseless charges and said that the credit for the story goes to Bharathan, who is also the director of the movie. When asking about the experience with Prabhu Deva, he said that he learned a lot from the dancing legend. His approach and way of making remakes has thrilled him and has inspired him to concentrate on film making also. He denied that he has no plans of directing a film at present.

Many have raised questions about the change of heroines in Azhagiya Tamil Magan. Vijay smiled in his style and simply told, 'It's all just for a change!' Vijay admitted that he gave dates for doing a movie with Udayanithi, son of M.K.Stalin, the minister of Local Bodies, Tamil Nadu. This correspondent asked him whether he faced any pressure to give dates for the movie. Vijay denied this suddenly and replied, 'No, never.'

Does he regret acting in action oriented films?
Answering this question, he said 'Never, there is nothing to regret about it. Action heroes only get recognition worldwide. Becoming an action hero is my ambition too. It was fulfilled after the success Thirumalai, Gilli and Madurae. These films got a rousing support from the woman viewer. This is very important thing for an action hero."

There is allegation that Vijay always choose his producers either from the Malayalam or Telugu Film industries. Is this true?
'Aaha... All these happened casually. I never planned for that. Two of my forth-coming films would be produced by Tamil producers only. And there is absolutely no intention of remaking other languages films. Basically, I'm always thinking of keep my producers and distributors happy. That is the reason for remaking successful other language films in Tamil'.

Do you act in the remake version of Murattukkalai?
'I like that film very much. There will be a possibility to act in the new version of Murattukkalai. But nothing has finalized.'
