Vijay to sing for AR Rahman

Apart from acting in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Vijay has sung for a song composed by A.R.Rahman in the film. Playback singing is not new to Vijay. He has sung a few songs in Tamil movies but this time he is singing fore the ace composer AR Rahman. This song is a Kuthu number and will it is sure that the song will rock the die-hard Vijay fans.

After overcoming all odds, the film has been completed - more than 85 percent of it - and it be release on Independence Day. Vijay is being features in the film in a dual role for the first time in a movie. Shivaji fame Shreya is acting in the female lead role.

After completing the shooting for Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Vijay would team up with Dharani for a film that will be produced by Udayanithi. The director has been completed the paperwork necessary and has also selected suitable location for the shooting of the films.

Trisha will be acting with him in this film. The music directorship will be taken over by Vidyasagar. The entire crew of the film is getting ready to start shooting for the film. Apart from these projects, Vijay has committed to two more films that he will follow up with- with Gautam Menon and AVM Balasubramaniyam respectively. Gautam's film will starts by the year-end and AVM Balasubramaniyam's film will start in the next year.
