Captain Vijaykanth"s new film will be renamed for the third time. The film, which is the veteran"s 150th, were earlier given titles of MGR and Vithagan. Both the times the title didn"t go well with the actor and hence the director changed it to Arasangam (which means Government). The actor latest said that he suggested that the film be named Sarkar but the title was not used because it would then become a language issue and plus the film wouldn"t cone under the tax benefits bracket.

Vijaykanth"s role in the film is that of an instructor in the Police Training College. The films cast and crew will fly to Canada and USA to shoot some of the scenes of the film. Navneet Kaur and Serili Brindo will play the female lead roles opposite Vijaykanth. Rahul Dev, Biju Menon, and two other Hollywood actors have been zeroed in on to act in the film.

Pattukottai Prabhakar is writing the script for the film. Srikanth Deva will take of films music while QA Venkatesh will be the films cinematographer. The star feels that the films release during the Tamilnadu Government elections will be the appropriate time.
