Sathyam Postponed; Malaikottai rolls on

Vishal has postponed Sathyam for a while, and given priorities for the shoot of his recently signed project Malaikottai with Boopathy Pandian.

In Sathyam, Vishal has the role of a khaki man and Trisha has been signed as his female lead. Due to some reasons, the entire team of Sathyam has postponed the shoot for at least for 2 months. It is said that due to non-availability of a suitable actor for the powerful villain's role, shooting of Sathyam has got delayed.

Vishal wouldn't like to waste the time gap in the interim and he has asked director Boopathy Pandian to can their latest project Malaikottai, a fun - action blended script. Trisha has also accepted to use her call sheets given for Sathyam for Malaikottai. Ajai is producing the film under his Sri Lakshmi Productions and Mani Sharma has scored the music. Shooting will start on May 1 st.
