Akshaya opts out of Peranmai

Young and hot actress Akshaya has opted out of Peranmai starring Jayam Ravi. The actress known for her seductive appearance and bold acting in films Kalaba Kadhalan and Pazhaniyappa Kalloori was booked for Peranmai a month ago by director S.P.Jananathan. There were 5 heroines to act with Ravi and Akshaya was one of them.

Jananathan signed the actress on the condition that she shouldn't sign any film till the shooting of Peranmai is completed. Sources said that Akshaya initially accepted the condition but later came to know that the shooting would take 10 months. Finally, the she decided to turn down the offer and opted out of the film.

Akshaya said, "Yes, I'm opting out of Peranmai. The director wants 8 months bulk dates for the film. At present I'm busy with a Telugu film as a solo heroine and a couple of Tamil films. I have also signed a film with Vikrant as a solo heroine. If I agreed the conditions of director S.P.Jananathan, I have to lose all other good opportunities. Of course, Peranmai is a rare chance for an actress like me. But for that I wouldn't lose four to five good offers from others."
