Director AR Murugadoss, one of the most 'wanted' directors in Tamil Cinema, has been arrested while he was coming out of the house of writer Sujatha where he gone to pay his last respects to the late writer. Murugadoss is now directing the remake of his own Tamil film Ghajini with the Aamir Khan-Asin playing the lead roles.
Yesterday he was arrested by the Salem Police based on Salem Chandrasekhar's complaint, the producer of the original Ghajini. Chandrasekhar had filed a police complaint with the Salem Police saying that Murugadoss had kept him in the dark regarding the making of a Hindi version of Ghajini and that he has not been paid his due share of the remake rights.
Many were shocked when they witnessed the arrest of the ace filmmaker arrested like a 'notorious criminal' by the Salem Police. It is mentionable here that Murugadoss is the only director who gave the producer the only hit in his career.
