Sun
Pictures,
the
film
production
division
of
the
media
giant
Sun
Network
has
purchased
the
entire
rights
of
superstar
Rajini's
Enthiran
–
The
Robot.
Sources
very
close
to
Enthiran
unit
reveal
that
the
present
producers
of
the
film
Ayngaran
International
and
Eros
wanted
to
hand
over
this
Rs.15
crore
project
to
some
big
group
due
to
the
existing
financial
crisis.
According
to
the
sources,
Rajinikanth,
the
hero
of
the
movie
met
Sun
TV's
Kalanidhi
Maaran
today
at
his
residence
with
his
director
Shankar
and
cameraman
Ratnavelu.
Enthiran
was
launched
a
couple
of
months
ago
under
the
banner
of
Ayngaran
-
Eros
in
Peru's
Machu
Pichu.
Later
the
director
completed
the
next
2
schedules
in
Goa
and
Chennai.
The
third
schedule
will
be
shot
at
Kulu
Manali
and
some
locations
in
Anaimalais.
But
due
to
the
financial
crisis
Eros
had
withdrawn
from
the
project
and
now
Ayngaran
also
wants
to
follow
the
same.
Ayngaran
is
supposedly
transferring
all
the
production
costs
of
the
movie
to
Sun
Pictures.
Sun
Pictures
had
recently
acquired
distribution
rights
for
its
films
including
Kadhalil
Vizhunden,
Thee
and
Dindigul
Sarathy
among
others.
