Gautham Menon thrown out of Ajith's film

It is official now... Director Gautham has been removed from Sivaji Productions' next film with Ajith Kumar.

According to the latest news, Dharani, the director of Vijay's Gilli and Kuruvi will direct this venture and the shooting would start sometime in December. Dharani has been asked to complete the script in an appealing way; a typical masala film for Ajith fans.

Sources reveal that the rift between Gautham and Ajith has been the main reason for the termination of the director from the project. Gautham wanted to try out something different with Ajith, a realistic thriller based on Abu Salem-Monica Bedi affair. But Ajith did not like the narrative style. He wanted something aggressive, an action oriented plot as against Gautham's present script.

It is said that Ajith is impressed with the one liner narrated by Dharani and has requested him to pep it with interesting twists.
