Jayapradha ready to pay her dues

The insolvency case involving actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jayapradha has been adjourned to Thursday (Today) for further hearing. Muthu Kumara Samy, counsel for Jayapradha, informed the court that she was willing to settle the entire amount (Rs.2,84,634) due to the creditor (Woodlands Theatre owner) along with the interest totally accruing to Rs. 6 lakhs through a single payment!

He submitted the same in written to the court and requested the Judge to accept this proposal and set aside the court's order dated September 18, 2006 declaring her as insolvent. After hearing this appeal, Justice V Ramasubramanian wondered if she had any plans to settle the property tax due to the Corporation.

The counsel of the actress assured that he would submit the proposal on Property Tax Payment soon.
