Vivacious Jayshree in Kadhal 2 Kalyanam

Jayashree, the vivacious actress, who had started her journey in the tinsel world with Thendralae Ennai Thodu is back to recreate her magic in the Tamil film industry.

Introduced in the industry by none other than the veteran director Sridhar, Jayashree carved a niche for herself doing versatile roles in many of her films.

Her films include Visu's Thirumathi Oru Vegumathi, R.C.Shakthi's Thali Dhanam and Karthik starrer Pistha. She was equally popular in Telugu and Malayalam and also acted with the likes of Mammooty and others.

Even though she got married and settled abroad in 1988, she was always flooded with offers from various south Indian film industries. However, the mother of two sons was in no mood to make a comeback in the silver screen unless she came across a meaty role.

Jayashree, who anchored a reality show in Sun TV, is finally ready to take a plunge in the silver screen again. She has signed to do a prominent role in Mirchi Movies' Kadhal 2 Kalyanam.

She readily agreed as she was highly impressed with the script of the movie. What more, she has signed up a couple of big ventures in the Telugu film industry, besides a host of advertisements and commercials.
