Finally, the drama has come to an end and the maiden venture of Sun Pictures Kadhalil Vizhundhein has been opened for public's view from Monday in Madurai and its suburbs.

Directed by debutant PV Prasad, the movie has hit the screens all over the state except Madurai due to some political reasons. Sun Pictures criticized that M.K.Azhagiri's supporters had threatened theater owners not to screen the film anywhere in Madurai and Ramanad districts.

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.Karunanidhi also intervened in the issue to assure a smooth release of the film in Madurai. After a series of verbal wars and denials, the movie has finally managed to hit over 6 screens in Madurai.

Starring Nakul and Sunaina and directed by Prasad, the movie has got a great open all over Tamil Nadu. Vijay Antony's peppy number Nakka Mukka (a mere remix of Illayaraaja's block buster hit Annathe Aaduraar...) is one of the main reasons behind the super opening.

Director Prasad says, "It is a huge success for us. The movie has opened big against all odds in Madurai."
