Last
week,
a
film
titled
Munnar
was
launched
and
this
week
it's
Kodaikanal,
another
cool
holiday
spot
of
the
state!
Of
course,
the
audio
launch
also
took
place
in
Chennai
Vani
Mahal
in
cool
manner.
Kamal
Hassan
released
the
first
CD
of
Kodaikanal
and
Bharathi
Raja
received
the
same
at
this
star
glittering
function.
The
movie
has
music

Deva
and
stars
new
faces
Poorna,
dubbing
artist
Shekhar
and
Thilak.
Ganteeban,
a
new
find
from
Malaysia
plays
the
negative
role.
In
his
short
speech,
Kamal
mentioned
about
the
industry
people's
aspiration
to
get
an
Oscar.
He
says,
"Many
times
I
stressed
that
Oscar
is
not
given
for
our
standard
of
film
making.
It
is
only
given
for
American
standard
of
films.
There
is
no
need
to
make
our
films
in
American
standards.
I
never
considered
Oscar
awards
as
the
big
ones
in
the
world.
For
us
Indian
awards
are
always
the
best"
"Try
to
get
more
awards
from
our
own
Indians.
I
hope,
one
day
a
white
man
will
receive
an
Indian
award
with
pride.
That
is
my
all
time
dream
and
I
hope
it
will
become
true," he
added.
The
function
was
attended
by
Rama
Narayan,
DGP
Vaikunth,
Anbalaya
Prabhakaran
and
others.
Bharathi
Raja
recalled
his
40
years
old
friendship
with
director
TK
Bose.
He
also
praises
Kamal,
lauding
him
as
the
only
Tamil

after
Shivaji
to
do
films
industry
proud.
