CM and Rajini to attend star night

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and Superstar Rajinikanth will attend the grand star night arranged by Tamil Film Industry on the eve of Tamil Cinema's 75th year anniversary, which will be held in Chennai in the last week of July.

According to Sarath Kumar, the President of Nadigar Sangam, "The Association is arranging mega events and competitions for best stage plays and scripts as a part of the 75th year celebrations. All the leading stars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan will take part in this celebration. Our Chief Minister Karunanidhi will attend the event as the chief guest."

It is remembered that a few months ago, most of the leading artists excluding Rajini, Kamal and Vijayakanth have took part in the inaugural star night of the celebrations held at Malaysia. The venue for the forthcoming star night will be announced later in the executive committee meeting of Nadigar Sangam and a separate team will also set up to run the show successfully.
