Though
Karunas
is
a
comedian
in
reel
life,
he
proved
himself
as
good
humanitarian
in
real
life.
Recently,
he
announced
that
he
would
be
using
the
100-acre
land
he
has
purchased
near
Madurai
to
build
an
old-age
home
for
destitute
and
elderly
people.
The
work
is
in
progress
and
very
soon
the
actor
will
inaugurate
this
home
for
olds.
Now
the
actor
exposed
his
noble
heart
through
extending
his
help
to
a
poor
student.
Karunas
was
in
Dindigul
shooting
for
Dindigul
Sarathy
(the
remake
of
Vadakku
Nokki
Yanthiram),
in
which
he
plays
a
lead
role
for
the
first
time.
One
of
the
spectators,
a
cobbler
had
come
with
the
mark
sheet
of
his
son,
who
had
scored
high
marks
in
his
plus
two
examination.
He
told
Karunas
that
he
wanted
to
admit
his
son
to
a
teacher
training
course,
but
couldn't
do
so
due
to
his
poverty.
Karunas
immediately
gave
him
Rs.
50000
on
the
spot.
The
old
man
was
in
tears
and
thanked
the
actor
a
lot.
Now
he
admitted
his
son
in
a
teacher
training
school.
Karunas
also
assured
that
he
will
help
the
poor
students
in
future
also.
