After watching my role as a sensible father in Thavamai Thavamirunthu, thousands of youngsters sensationally write letters to me and pray to get a father like me. If I were to play negative role like Suman doing in Shivaji, definitely it would be a big minus to Rajini sir's great film. It would spoil the movie. That was the only reason behind my denial."
