The new hero was introduced through the grand audio launch of the film at Hotel Adayar Park a couple of days ago.
Director P. Vasu's father and the late MGR's make-up man, Peethambaram, released the audio cassette and Prabhu of Sivaji Productions received the same. Mohan Babu made these arrangements to remember his old days in Chennai.
Mohan Babu had actually started his carrier in Chennai through a Tamil film Annan Oru Kovil which the late legend Sivaji Ganesan had both produced and acted . Later Mohan Babu became one of the popular villains in Tamil and even appeared in a couple of Rajini films too.
Speaking at the event, Mohan Babu admitted many things open heartedly. He told about his bond with the great actor of South India, the one and only superstar Rajinikant.
"Rajini is not only a great actor, but also a great human being. We both have shared film offers in those days. It is my pleasure to mention him as my good friend. I never forget the kind treatment given to me by the Tamil people and media in my earlier days. The people of Tamil Nadu only fed Rajini and me without any monetary expectations when we were suffering even for our daily food..." remarked Mohan Babu in his vote of thanks.
He said that though his place of origin is Andhra, he is very proud to mention Tamil Nadu as his native place.
Later Mohan Babu said that he also plans to introduce his elder son Vishnu in Tamil through a popular director.
Veteran director K.Bhagyaraj delivered a special speech on this occasion. Directors Ameer, Subramanyam Siva, young hero Simbu also attended the event and wished Manoj Kumar, the new hero of Tamil film industry!
