Saami seeks Rama Narayanan's help

Mirugam director Saami is seriously trying to lift the one year ban on him to direct films, which were imposed by the Producer's Council a few months ago. As he got a big offer recently to direct a film with Rajkiran in the lead, Saami approached the President of Producer Council Rama Narayanan to lift the ban as early as possible.

According to the director, Rama Narayanan assured him to do his level best in this issue, but only after consulting with all the trade bodies involved in this matter. Saami has finalised a story and script work for his new film with Rajkiran and Mirugam hero Aadhi in the lead roles. The director also got a producer who is ready to make the movie in budget.

It may be recalled that Saami got this ban due to his ferocious behaviour over Padmapriya, the heroine of his earlier movie in the shooting spot for her non-cooperation to complete the climax scene of the film.
