Karunanidhi's son comes back to Tamil Cinema

Mu Ka Muthu, the elder son of Chief Minister Dr M Karunanidhi is made his comeback to Tamil Cinema after two long decades. Yesteryear hero Muthu tried to imitate legendary MGR in films like Anaya Vilakku, Pillayo Pillai and Pookkari but failed in his attempt and later he led a below average life so far. He addicted to liquor and drugs and suffered a lot, Recently he was admitted in a hospital for treatment. Now he is cured from all his ailments both physically as well as mentally.

Though his physical appearance affected a lot due to his bad habits, his famous MGR like voice is still mesmerizes the listeners. For the past one month he is concentrating on music and in fact, he is seeking some suitable chances to make his comeback in Tamil Cinema.

After knowing all these facts, Pavithran, the director of Sarath starred mega hit Sooriyan has offered a chance to Muthu as play back singer.

He rendered a foot taping number yesterday at Prasad Recording Theater under the composition of Deva, "Annanmaare, Thambimaare… Arumayulla Ayyamare…" for Pavithran's forth coming film Maatu Thavani.

After the recording Muthu shared his experience with the media persons, "It is really a happy occasion for me. I have never taken any hard efforts to save my voice. In fact, I didn't practice anything before I enter into the recording theatre. Just I got the blessings of my aunt Shanmugasundarambal (Murasoli Maaran's mother and Karunanidhi's sister) and directly came here."

Answering to a question about his re-appearance on screen, Muthu said, "Yes, I'm ready to make my appearance on screen too. If I get any suitable offers, definitely I will act. In fact, director Rajeshwar approached me for a role in his forthcoming film Indhira Vizha."
