Namitha,
the
hot
actress
of
Tamil
Cinema,
has
made
a
complaint
with
Nadigar
Sangam
about
producer-director
Thiru
alias
Thirunavukkarasu
yesterday
for
torturing
her
to
get
her
call
sheet
for
his
film.
Thiru
started
a
film
titled
Azhagan
Ponnu
in
2006
with
Namitha
playing
the
lead
role.
He
paid
her
Rs.17
lakhs
as
advance.
Kamaraj
was
the
director
at
that
time.
After
5
days
of
shoot,
the
producer
dismissed
Kamaraj
and
took
over
charge
as
director.
Namitha
was
hesitatant
to
act
under
his
direction.
But
Thiru
convinced
the
actress
and
she
agreed
to
continue
working
in
the
film.
In
2006
December,
Thiru
restarted
the
movie
and
the
shooting
was
fixed
to
take
place
at
Kodaikanal.
Namitha
came
on
time
to
the
set
but
the
director
came
very
late.
Namitha
became
furious
and
blasted
the
director
in
front
of
the
unit
members
and
walked
out
of
the
sets.
After
this
incident,
there
was
no
time
for
Namitha
to
rethink
about
the
film
Azhagana
Ponnu
as
she
had
many
other
films
on
hand
to
shoot
for.
Thiru
tried
his
best
to
get
Namitha's
call
sheets
and
restart
the
movie.
Namitha
then
made
a
complaint
with
Nadigar
Sangam
about
Thiru
and
stating
that
he
had'tortured'
her
and
that
he
frequently
visiting
her
house
and
threatened
her
to
get
the
dates.
Thiru
also
made
a
complaint
about
Namitha
with
Producer's
Council
that
the
actress
didn't
co-operate
with
him
as
agreed
and
tried
to
cheat
him
Rama
Narayanan,
the
President
of
Producers
council
has
now
invited
both
the
parties
to
the
council
for
negotiations.
He
also
sent
a
letter
to
Radha
Ravi,
the
secretary
of
Nadigar
Sangam,
to
attend
the
negotiation
meet
which
will
be
held
on
Friday.
