Producers Council orders Karthi

Ayirathil Oruvan producer Raveendran had registered a complaint with the Tamil Film Producers Council that actor Karthi is not co operating with the Unit to complete the film within the stipulated time frame.

Directed by Selvaragavan, Ayirathil Oruvan had started shooting last year and is still going on. To keep the continuity, Karthi has been maintaining his beard for the past one year. Now the actor has signed a new film Paiya opposite Nayantara with Linguswamy as the director of the film.

So, Karthi wants to complete the shooting of Ayirathil Oruvan and shifts his focus on Paiya. But director Selvaragavan still wants to shoot some more scenes for the film and the budget too has already exceeded three times more than what they had planned earlier.

After reviewing Raveendran's plea, the producers council has requested Karthi not to take off his beard, till he completes Ayirathil Oruvan. They have also asked Karthi to complete Raveendhiran's film first.
