When will Rajini break his silence?

This is the question raised by hundreds of hardcore fans of Superstar Rajini in an urgent meet arranged by the office bearers of Chennai and fan clubs of other districts.

Though Sathyanarayana requests the fans not to convene any such meet, more than a hundred fan club functionaries assembled today in front of Valluvar Kottam to discuss about their future plans.

The fans association from some districts, including Madurai, Tiruvallur, Tiruchi, Theni, Villupuram and Kancheepuram also attended the meet today to discuss their Thalaivar's political entry.

With a view to exert more pressure on Rajini to start a political party and take a plunge into the world of politics, the fans threatened to launch a fast-unto-death until he forays into public life.

At the meeting, they decided to submit a memorandum to the superstar, urging him to enter politics. An office-bearer of the association said it is our desire that Rajni enters politics.

"Every political party wants Rajnikanth's support during the elections. But after the polls, they ignore him and even betray him in many issues. The need of the hour is that Rajni should start his own political outfit", some of the fans said this in a unanimous tone in the meet.

At the end, fans decided to launch an indefinite fast across Tamil Nadu, till the actor yields to their demand.

After realizing the seriousness of the situation, Rajini's secretary and Fan clubs President Sathyanarayana confirmed that Rajini would meet the fans in the next few days.

According to Sathyanarayana, Rajni, who was busy shooting for the film Enthiran in Goa, was likely to meet the fans on October 15 and listen to their grievances.

Fans hope that the answer to the million dollar question would be given on October 15!
