Is the name Iyanthiran fine for superstar Rajinikanth's latest film? Of course, some of his die-hard fans would find hard to take it, as it gives a meaning like a machine man. But Sujatha, the scriptwriter of Robot has suggested this name as the only alternative for Rajini's biggest film Robot.

The original name of Sujatha's novel which is the base for Robot is 'En Iniya Iyanthira' (part-1) and Jeano (Part-2). Jeano is the machine dog which plays a big role in the second part of the novel.

After the superstar's request to give a suitable Tamil title for Robot, the director handed over the responsibility to Sujatha. Sources said that the writer suggested two titles Iyanthira and Iyanthiran. It is said that the superstar is also pleased to hear the new title. But at the same time he is said to have requested the writer to come out with one more title that is catchier than Iyanthiran.

Meanwhile, the producers have requested the director to come out with the new title as early as possible, as they need to complete some formalities before the launch of the project.
