Actress
Rohini
is
now
donning
another
role
that
is
in
documentary
film.
She
has
made
a
52-minute
documentary
that
takes
a
look
at
six
child
actors
from
India.
Titled
Silent
hues,
the
documentary
is
an
attempt
to
look
at
the
known
and
unarticulated
thoughts
of
children,
who
act.
Rohini
has
tried
to
highlight
the
mindset
of
the
makers
of
these
child
actors,
the
fathers
and
mothers
through
interviews.
Silent
Hues
also
seeks
to
address
the
politics
of
child
actors
through
a
subtle
and
yet
intense
rendering
of
scenes
that
dissolve
from
one
to
the
other.
The
work
has
been
produced
and
directed
by
Rohini
for
Raadha
Swami
Enterprises.
This
documentary
means
more
than
just
a
creative
exercise
for
Rohini,
who
has
been
a
child
artist
herself.
Having
started
her
acting
career
at
five,
she
has
about
130
south
Indian
films
to
her
credit.
Being
an
activist
of
AIDS
awareness,
Rohini
has
also
directed
short
films
for
MGR
Medical
University
and
Tamil
Nadu
AIDS
Control
Society.
This
film
has
been
in
the
making
for
many
years
now.
The
documentary
is
expected
to
be
screened
later
this
month.
