Simbu in arch rival Dhanush's shoes

Pollathavan crew is teaming with Simbu. Yes, director Vetrimaaran has replaced Dhanush with his arch rival Simbu after considering his hectic schedules.

After the release of Pollathavan, Dhanush promised producer of the film Kathiresan and director Vetrimaaran to make another film with the same combination. He had also approved a script and Vetrimaaran was planning to launch the film this May.

But later, Dhanush found it hard to allot dates to Vetrimaaran's project, as he has signed films with Vijaya Combines, Gemini Labs and his home production banner.

Sources said that Vetrimaaran has signed Simbu for the same script with minor changes. It is said that Simbu impressed with the script so much so that he allotted the dates immediately.

At present Simbu is acting in only one film titled Silambattam. He has been searching for good directors and scripts for a comeback. Let's hope Vetrimaaran gives him a break!
