Bharath's new film Seval directed by Hari was launched formally at the Vijaya Garden on Sunday. Produced by MA Jinnah under his Jinnah Creations, the film has Simran and Poonam Bajwa in lead roles. According to the director, this film would be the perfect re-entry vehicle for Simran, who plays a powerful role against Bharath.
Director Hari said, "Though the heroine is Poonam Bajwa, Simran plays a vital role just equal to hero Bharath in this film. But I would like to keep the suspense about her role in this film. But it is not usual anni or akka in the film as the media has been speculating so far. I'm sure that the film will be enjoyed well by youth."
Hari also said that for the first time, he is going to use the typical Nellai slang Tamil throughout the film. "Though I belong to Thirunelveli district, I never use the full fledged Nellai slang in any of my film. But in Seval, all the characters would speak the typical Thirunelveli Tamil," Hari added.
Vadivelu plays the main role that comes equal to the hero. According to the director, the first half of the film has a lot of fun, where Bharath teams up with Vadivelu for a laugh riot. The second half is full of emotion.
Earlier, the pooja was attended by M Saravanan, Rama Narayanan and K Balachandar along with other luminaries including Vijayakumar, Perarasu, RB Chowdhry, SA Chandrasekhar, T Ajaykumar, Manjula, Monica, Na Muthukumar, Sampath Raj, Arun Vijay, Ganja Karuppu and Krishna. Bharath and director Hari were seen welcoming the guests on stage along with the producer.
