launched
its
film
production
division
recently
in
a
grand
style.
The
premier
television
network
which
operates
20
television
channels
in
South
Indian
languages
and
Bangala
is
also
running
more
than
67
FM
radio
stations
in
India.
Hansraj
Saxena,
the
Chief
Operating
Officer
of
Sun
Network
unveiled
the
logo
and
promised
that
Sun
Pictures
will
emulate
Sun
TV's
excellence.
The
function
was
attended
by
many
Tamil
film
stars
and
VIPs
including
Sundar
C,
Jeeva,
Nakka
Mukka
song
fame
Vijay
Antony
,
producers
Anbalaya
Prabhakaran
and
others.
They
participated
at
the
event
and
extended
their
support
to
the
newly
launched
Sun
Pictures.
Sun
Pictures
will
produce
films
in
the
four
south
Indian
languages
Tamil,
Telugu,
Malayalam
and
Kannada,
and
signed
contracts
with
leading
artists,
directors
and
music
directors.
Sun
Pictures
have
acquired
the
film
rights
of
Kadhalil
Vizhunten,
Thee,
Thenavettu,
and
Siva
Manasula
Sakthi
(SMS)
and
will
release
them
worldwide
under
their
banner.
Saxena
also
informed
that
they
have
plans
to
launch
big
films
with
top
stars
soon.
