of

foray
into
South
India,

Movies
Limited
has
tied
up
with
Prakash
Raj's
Duet
Movies
and
Moser
Baer
India
Limited
to
co-produce
its
first
Tamil
feature
film,
Vellithirai,
directed
by
Viji.
The
film
features
the
hit
Mozhi
pair
of
Prakash
Raj
and
Prithviraj,
along
with
Gopika.

signed
Milind
Rau
as
a
director
for
two
films,
the
first
of
which
will
be
a
Tamil
romantic
comedy
called
Kaadhal
2
Kalyanam.
Milind
comes
with
an
extremely
credible
background,
having
worked
as
an
associate
to
Mani
Ratnam
on
four
films,
including
the
super
hit
i.
Kaadhal
2
Kalyanam
is
expected
to
roll
in
early
2008.
Mirchi
Movies
Limited
has
also
acquired
the
Tamil
remake
rights
of
the
biggest
Malayalam
hit
of
2007,
Chocolate.
Mirchi
Movies
will
continue
to
focus
on
creating
memorable
feature
films.
