Vaaranam Aayiram out of Deepavali race!
According to the latest schedule, the film will be released on November 14, almost two weeks after the festival.
The reason for the delay is that the film has not been picked up by some of the distributors in some crucial areas. In some other areas, action packed entertainers like Seval and Aegan have occupied the screens and some c class theaters are only available for this A grade film!
The Telugu rights of the film are yet to be finalized and in Kerala the film will not hit the screens on Deepavali day. Its distributor has made it clear that he will release the film only two weeks after the release of the Malayalam mega movie Twenty:20, opening on October 30.
The overseas distributor of the film has to get theatres, as Aegan has grabbed all the screens this Deepavali. So, Gautham Menon wants a solo release for Vaaranam Aayiram on November 14.
