Vadivelu declares war with Vijaykanth

Leading comedian Vadivelu declared 'war' with the actor turned politician Vijaykanth on Sunday.

A few months back Vijaykanth fans had pelted stones at Vadivelu's house in Saligramam. This had led to the comedian filing a case against Vijaykanth. The case is now going on in Saidapet court.

Recently Vadivelu met the media representatives at the success meet of RK's Ellam Avan Seyal.

Vadivel is said to have spoofed Vijaykanth in this film. He has essayed the role of a bumbling politician who just cannot get his act together.

Vadivelu told the media, "I'm still getting threatening calls from Vijaykanth and his men, but I have not reported it to the police. I will personally campaign against Vijaykanth's candidates in the next parliament elections. I'm sure people will listen to me, as I have no politics and do not want to be an MP or MLA. At the same time I will contest against Vijaykanth in the assembly elections. It is a war between me and Vijaykanth..."
