Kuruvi - Karnataka rights sold out

After the first ever design of Vijay's Kuruvi published in Print media, the expectation is soaring new high for this Dharani directed film. Few days ago we reported about the sale of its Kerala rights for a record price and now it is about the film's Karnataka rights.

The Karnataka rights of the film sold out for a whopping Rs. 1.20 crores. It is highest ever price for a Vijay film in this area surpassing his previous film Azhagiya Tamil Magan's price Rs.75 lakhs. Karnataka theatrical rights have been purchased by 'Mandya' Srikanth, a regular Tamil film distributor in Karnataka area.

Kuruvi is the second film, which got a big price from the neighbouring state distributors after Shivaji. According to the producer Udhayanithi Stalin, the film is going to release in the first week of May.
