"I had to have to maintain my physique for this film; I gave up my desire to eat non-veg food. I also had to visit the gym regularly and faced the challenge of maintaining the body," says Ameer.
He adds that the action scenes in this movie will be at par with those in Hollywood. “We took 51 days to shoot just two action scenes. I didn"t use dupes for the stunts and hence, got hurt twice. But, it doesn"t matter because I did all this to give the movie a realistic effect." Devaraj, one of the senior film journalists is also making his big debut through this film.
Ameer, the director turned actor in Yogi says that he has avoided non-vegetarian foods during the shooting of his forth coming film Yogi. Ameer makes his debut as an actor in Yogi. Basically he is a thorough non-vegetarian but has given up his usual three course non-veg meal and survived instead on green vegetables and other veg tandoori items.
