Bala's fresh petition to dismiss charges against him

Director Bala has filed a fresh petition at a local court here, to dismiss the case against him sued by Tamil Nadu handicaps welfare board. Few months ago, the board had filed a case at the 5th chief metropolitan court against Bala for insulting physically challenged persons in his film Naan Kadavul.

The case is pending in the same court. Now Bala has filed a petition that seeking the dismissal of the case sued by the board. In his petition Bala has said that the film has already completed its run and there is no need to ban the film or continue the inquiry.

The magistrate has postponed the case to October 16th.
