Biopic on legendary actor Gemini Ganesan

Dr. Kamala Selvaraj, one of the popular gynaecologists in the City is making a full-length, biopic on her father the legendary actor Gemini Ganesan titled Kaadhal Mannan - The King of Romance.

The film will be about the life and times of Kollywood's evergreen romantic hero,Gemini Ganesan.

The film will be directed by documentary film maker Venkatraman and will include clippings from all his landmark films like Missiamma, Kalyana Parisu, Paava Manippu, Punnagai etc.

At the introductory event, Dr Kamala Selvaraj said: "My father's life is an open book, and he never tried to keep anything secret. Even today people have great respect and love for me because I'm Gemini Ganesan's daughter. Kaadhal Mannan is going to be a memorable biopic. We are planning to release the film in July along with its theatrical form as well as DVD."
