Jayaprakash: Producer turns leading artiste!

Producer Jayaprakash is very busy now with a handful of films. Yes...he has now turned as a full time character artiste after the stupendous hit of Pasanga.

His role as the village school teacher 'Chokkalingam vathiyar' in Company Production's Pasanga has won him accolades. For actor Jayaprakash, its another feather in his cinematic cap after his notable role in film Maayakannadi.

As a producer he has produced several films like Chellamae, April Maadam, Thavasi and many more under his GJ Cinema banner.

"Though I have played in a couple of films earlier, Pasanga is the first one where I play a good man and that too a school teacher," laughs Jayaprakash.

Jayaprakash's association with producer M Sasikumar, the producer of Pasanga, continues beyond that film.

"Both of us are acting in Samudrakanni's Nadodigal. I play a rich man with shades of grey. It's a role of great depth," the actor continues.
