Kandhasamy's first week record collection!

Kandhasamy collected a whopping Rs. 1,73,43,778 (gross) in the very first week of its release in Chennai City alone. The film has collected Rs 37 crores worldwide. This is a record in recent times for a Tamil film after superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster Sivaji. This film was released by Abirami Mega Mall in 18 theaters all over the City.

The producer of the film, Kalaipuli S Thanu has released the worldwide collection details of the film at the success meet held in the City on Sunday evening. So far the film has collected 37 crores all over the globe. Remember, Thanu released the film in 900 screens worldwide.
