Karthi, the next to use Rajini's title

Paruthiveeran Karthi is now going to play lead role in a film titled Naan Mahan Alla. Produced by his home production company, this is title is owned by K Balachander's Kavithalaya. 'Naan Mahan Alla' is the famous title of Rajini starrer blockbuster that was released in the eighties.

The new version of Naan Mahan Alla is directed by Susindran of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame. The hot and happening girl in Tollywood after that mega blockbuster Magadheera, Kajal Agarwal is the heroine of the film. In Tamil, she was last seen in Saran"s Modhi Vilayadu which did not click in the box office.

So far Karthi has only one release Paruthiveeran, that too was released almost 3 years back. Now he is playing lead roles in Lingusamy's Paiya and Selvaraghavan's long pending venture Aayirathil Oruvan.

Naan Mahan Allai will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and camera by Madhi. Rajeevan is in charge of the art department. Shooting will bein on the first week of September.
