The book, titled Vikshiptha Vichithra, was brought out three years ago on the eve of the release of Rajinikanth's blockbuster film Shivaji directed by Shankar. Lahari's Manohar Naidu and his brother Velu plan to come out with more audio albums based on the books.
Velu said: "The first attempt was Rajinikanth's book. Many people who were not able to read the book will now be able to know the contents of the book. It will also interest the large number of Rajinikanth fans who cannot read the book in Kannada."
Journalist Mahesh Devashetty said he had undertaken extensive research in writing the book and had interviewed many people in Karnataka who had known Rajinikanth in his struggling days.
"There were many people who helped Rajinikanth to fulfill his ambition to become an actor. The book also brings out the mysteries behind Rajinikanth's persona and his exciting journey in the film industry," Mahesh Devashetty said.
