Selva to remake K Balachander's classic again!

Once again Selva is gearing up to remake his mentor K. Balachander's old hit film. This time he will remake Nootrukku Nooru under the banner of KB's Kavithalaya.

The remake version will feature Vinay as the male lead with five heroines as his leading ladies..

According to Selva, the movie is about a youth, who finds himself in a troublesome situation after he comes across five women in his life. The new version features Sneha donning the role enacted by Lakshmi, 'Kaadhal' Sandhya in the place of Sri Vidya, popular Telugu actress Neelima for Vijaya Lalitha, yesteryear heroine Kasthuri in the place of Jaykumari and Karthika in the role enacted by Lalitha.

When the question, "Don't you think that handling five top heroines is a little bit tough?" was posed, the answer was.

"Everyone has a part to play in the movie. I have already worked with five heroines in my earlier film Nan Avan Illai. I will give equal importance to all the heroines... So there is no place for ego clash!"
