Seventh Channel's Chennai film festival

Manickam Narayanan is not only a leading Tamil Producer but also a die hard movie lover. To show his passion towards good cinema, he has been organizing the International Film Festival in Chennai on behalf of his Seventh Channel banner. The film festival has started in Chennai Film Chamber Theater and will continue till October 31st.

According to the organizers, it"s a practice to have a particular theme for the film fest every year. Last year the then organizers highlighted 'Global Warming" and this year it will be 'Expression of Emotions".

Seventh Channel has made arrangements with International Tamil Film"s Academy to run the show successfully. Says Narayanan, "It is my pleasure to run such events in the city. Through these festivals, we get an opportunity to view films with global awareness..."
