Tamil
actor
Surya
has
strongly
denied
his
association
with
any
Sinhalese
film
producers
or
film
makers.
Recently,
an
English
daily
had
carried
an
item
on
the
remake
of
Sinhalese
film
Devadasigal
in
Tamil
with
Surya-Simran
in
the
lead.
The
director
Suresh
Kumarasinghe
of
the
film
had
also
also
confirmed
the
news
in
a
press
interview.
Tamil
activists
including
Pazha
Nedumaran
severely
criticised
Surya
for
accepting
the
offer
from
a
director,
who
is
originated
from
Sinhalese
community.
But
now,
Surya
has
denied
all
these
rumours.
The
actor,
who
is
busy
with
his
ongoing
project
Singam,
has
sent
a
clarification
letter
through
his
media
manager
Nikil
Murugan.
He
says,
"There
is
no
truth
in
it.
I'm
currently
acting
in
Singam
directed
by
Hari.
My
forthcoming
projects
are
a
Hindi
movie
by
Ram
Gopal
Varma
and
a
film
under
AR
Murugadoss'
direction.
It
will
be
produced
by
Udhayanidhi
Stalin.
This
is
my
actual
line
up..."
