The
Madras
High
Court
has
clearly
said
that
there
is
no
ban
or
interim
stay
imposed
on
the
release
of
Kamal
Hassan's
Unnaipol
Oruvan,
but
the
actor
must
deposit
Rs.4
crores
in
the
court
as
a
security
deposit.
On
Monday,
the
Court
ordered
status
quo
on
the
release
of
the
movie.
While
admitting
a
civil
money
recovery
suit
filed
by
Pyramid
Saimira
Production
International
Ltd.,
Justice
K
Rajsuria
also
directed
Kamal
Hassan
and
the
producers
of
the
film
Raj
Kamal
Films
International
to
file
their
counter.
After
going
through
the
counter
petition
submitted
by
Kamal's
brother
Chandrahassan,
the
judge
ordered
to
release
the
film
as
per
their
plans,
but
that
they
must
deposit
Rs
4
crores
in
the
court
before
30th
September
as
security
deposit.
Kamal
immediately
accepted
that.
UPO
has
hit
10
big
screens
in
Chennai
city
and
more
than
25
theaters
outside
the
city.
