Musician Chandrabose passes away

Veteran music director Chandrabose passed away in Chennai yesterday morning (September 30) at a government hospital. He died at the age of 60 due to multiple-organ failure. He is survived by wife and three children Santhosh, Vinod and Gowri.

Chandrabose was suffering from liver and kidney related problems from past few years. Last week, he was admitted to a private hospital and later he was shifted to a government hospital.

As a music director, his journey started with the Tamil movie Madura Geetham. He has scored the music for more than 300 films, which includes Tharayil Vaazhum Meengal, Sankar Guru, Kaliyugam, Sigamani Ramamani, Paati Sollai Thattadhey, Idhaya Deepam.

He has composed music for Rajinikanth's films like Manithan, Raja Chinna Roja, Viduthalai, Aaru Pushpangal, Mangudi Minor etc. His last music compositional movie is Naan Petha Magan. He has also tried his luck in singing and acting.
