GFC acquires Manmadhan Ambu rights

Gemini Film Circuit (GFC) has acquired the distribution rights of upcoming Tamil film Manmadhan Ambu. It will release the film worldwide on December 17.

According to reports, the production house has bagged it for hefty price. But the price, which it has paid for the rights, is not been disclosed yet. It may be recalled that the GFC has recently bagged the rights of Rajinikanth starrer Hara, which was earlier titled Sultan The Warrior. Sources also revealed that it is venturing into Bollywood with Vidhu Vinod Chopra Productions.

Manmadhan Ambu is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by KS Ravikumar. It features Kamal Hassan, Trisha, Madhavan, Ramesh Aravind, Sangeetha and others in the cast. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music and Manush Nandan has handled the camera.
