Raavanan, Singam pirated cds-dvds seized

Pirated cds and dvds of latest movies like Raavanan and Singam have been seized by Chennai city police recently. Around 600 plus cds-dvds very recovered including porn movies.

The police have arrested 15 members, who were involved in the piracy and registered the case under Copyright Act. Earlier, actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam has lodged a complaint with city police commissioner demanding action against piracy,

Two weeks ago, the central zone task force team raided on a shop cum godown at Koti. They seized 6,490 pirated DVDs and VCDs of the latest movies from there, which included 3610 Telugu, 1590 Hindi and 1290 English movies. A number of porn VCDs were also seized during the raid.
