I don't have guts to write memoir: Rajinikanth

By Ramchander

Tamil Nadu Director's Union 40th anniversary was held at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Saturday (Oct 23). Superstar Rajinikanth was interviewed by his mentor K Balachander on the occasion.

Rajinikanth, who had initially said 'No',later relented and attended the function. The ace director asked some interesting questions. Balachander questioned the actor, whether he has any plan to enter politics. The superstar answered in his usual style by pointing his finger towards sky (if god desires).

Replying a question about his autobiography, Rajini honestly said, "I have no idea about penning an autobiography now. In that case it has be an honest one and I feel in that process I may end up hurting some people . Mahatma Gandhi had the guts to write such an autobiography. I will do so when I get the guts."

Answering to another question, the superstar said that his favourite director is Mahendran (who made blockbusters movies like Mullum Malaru, Johny with the actor). Balachander asked more than 40 questions.
